Help us give back to those who are risking their lives for us and those in our community who have suffered from trauma!
Our goal is to raise $6,700 to support at least 5 LA County residents in receiving at least 10 therapy sessions to process any stress or duress from their experience during these challenging times.
As mental health workers, we are deeply committed to supporting the well being of not only our clients, but our community as a whole. We have been extremely moved by the stress and trauma so many in our area have been facing in such extreme and challenging conditions. In order to give back, we have decided to sponsor at least 5 LA County residents to receive up to 10 therapy sessions during this crisis. We are going to start by helping to sponsor one but we need your support to reach our goal of $6,700. Balanced mental health is a critical component to what allows our neighbors and community to stay healthy and strong. Accessing therapeutic services at this time for those in need could help prevent further trauma or challenge later on in life and could be the saving grace for an individual and/or their family. We hope you will join us in this cause!
Below you will find a list of therapists available to take on new clients. If you are an LA resident in need of therapy at this time due to COVID-19, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Let us know about why you are reaching out and which therapist you would like to work with. We will connect you to the practitioner of your choice and help you begin the process of therapy.
As a strengths-based therapist, I am here as a warm and compassionate partner to walk alongside you through some of life’s most difficult challenges. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, process, and cope with past pain, present fears, and future uncertainties. I provide empathy, insight, and a fresh perspective, as we sort through the muck of life together, and you discover your own inner strength and power. You experience healing hope. I’m highly intuitive, coupled with an open heart, and experience working with a range of emotional issues to help guide you toward leading the fulfilling life you desire.
I specialize in working with alcoholism and substance use disorders. I am here to support the addict and the family system that addiction impacts. I work with mood disorders that include depression and anxiety. I explore and expose fixed ideas that impair peaceful and balanced living.
I also work with interpersonal relationship issues, divorce, and diversity issues including LGBTQ. Whether you just need a listening ear, or are in the midst of severe crisis, I am here to support and guide you through the dark into the light. I draw from a variety of therapies including Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic.
Therapy or counseling is truly an investment in yourself, and one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself.
I provide individual therapy to men and women individually, adolescents, couples, and families. My approach is strength based, solution focused, and client driven. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT 110297 in Culver City, CA. I am supervised by Scott Johnson, MFT MFC42955.
I am passionate about joining with individuals on their journey to growth, healing, and moving forward through life’s transitions in creative and life-affirming ways. If you are experiencing the pain of addiction (personally or in relationship), the loss of a relationship, ambivalence about your career and the direction of your life, or struggling with past negative life events that still impact you, I can help provide a safe and supportive space to help guide you through the places where you feel stuck. I currently see clients in the evenings Monday through Friday and on weekends.
